Jeff Sings on German TV

Seen here at an appearance this fall on German talk show Die Rederei, I spontaneously pick up my baby guitar and serenade my unsuspecting fellow panelists as the show ends. The titles obstruct my face right when I begin to sing, which suggests that the producers of the show couldn’t handle my theoretical charisma.

I grabbed this footage off YouTube using an awesome website called Clip Nabber. Thanks to Ruby Rose for hooking me up!

“Beatlemania” @ River Run Centre

Zach and Chris Model the Emergency Clean-Up Powder

On Tuesday Zach and I arrived in Guelph, Ontario to perform 3 shows at the River Run Centre for 1,500 area Grade 4 students. These nine year-olds don’t mess around; they were among the best houses we’ve ever had – as demonstrated by the above clip featuring our performance of “All My Loving” by The Beatles.

We heard that after one of the shows there was a child that had an accident in the balcony, which we attributed to enthusiasm.  Zach is pictured with our exuberant stage manager, Chris, who was eager to show us the preferred method for a quick cleaning solution: Emergency Clean-Up Powder.

Hallowe’en Horror: Zach’s Prized Guitar Destroyed!

Zach Reflects on his Hallowe'en Mishap

Upon arriving at the airport in Saint John, New Brunswick for our gig with the Good Lovelies at the Imperial Theatre, Zach was advised that his prized guitar was apparently lost. Ever the optimists, we held out hope that it may be located and delivered in time for the 8pm show.

While the guitar did in fact arrive shortly before we were to take the stage, sadly it did not show up in very good condition. Actually, saying that it was not “in very good condition” might be the understatement of our career to date.

Zach was advised by Air Canada that it would not be playable for the evening’s performance. The truth is it will not ever again be playable, as it was clearly run over by a luggage cart or attacked by an uncaged animal.

To be clear, we have every hope and expectation that the lovely people at Air Canada (possible exception: baggage handlers) will work diligently and expeditiously to compensate Zach for all costs associated with the destruction of his lovely, smashed guitar.

Otherwise, stay tuned for an Air Canada version of United Breaks Guitars!
